This 1980 Citroen van, which the owner told me came from the fire service and had only 11k miles when it was imported here. The thing looked new.

I have never seen an HY van, but that one looks amazing! The city must not have had many fires.

Saw my first 2CV in the wild this weekend. I regret I didn’t have a chance to take a photo. Quite clean.

It’s a Citroen HY! Awesome old things! Not the most comfortable though! :P

The verb is “ onduler ”, in the case of the HY it’s called “ tôle ondulée ” (“ corrugated iron ”, you even have a HY on the Wikipedia page).
A UPS (Uninteruptible Power Supply) is called an “ onduleur ”.

The French are used to being taunted by now?

It did, but they usually burned themselves out before this could arrive.

True, it saves a lot of work for the firefighters but not a lot of houses.

This cyclist cafe has this seating area in SF, I pass by it sometimes. The van looks pretty beat up.
